We Established Contact with Soldiers in the Hard-to-Reach Areas of Hin Shen and Mets Shen: MP
A group of Armenian lawmakers, including myself and Sophia Hovsepyan, arrived in Artsakh early this morning to clarify the situation regarding our likely captured soldiers positioned in several combat posts towards the villages of Hin Tagher and Khazaberd in Hadrut. This was reported late at night on the Facebook page of MP Nazeli Baghdasaryan, who added that in addition to meetings with the families of the soldiers, we have been in constant communication with Artsakh authorities at all levels over the past few days.
“We met with the Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh and established contact with soldiers from Shirak region located in the hard-to-reach area of Hin Shen and Mets Shen. A decision has been made, the details of which I will provide tomorrow. We also talked with Hayk Khanumyan, who has been defending the frontline post in Khazaberd with his friends for about 40 days. Hayk is well-acquainted with the area, so we discussed potential routes for the safe exit of our boys from that territory.”
Later, we met with the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, and thoroughly analyzed the video footage circulating on the Internet, through which it became clear where it was shot - in Kirsavan or Khazaberd. We have maintained contact with the parents and regional authorities and clarified the list of individuals about whom no information has been received in recent days.
During a meeting scheduled with the President of Artsakh tomorrow, we will clarify the progress of negotiations with the Russian side. We will provide updates as new details emerge,” wrote the MP.
