Vazgen Tevanian Wins Gold Medal at Wrestling World Cup

Freestyle wrestler Vazgen Tevanian (65 kg) has become the gold medalist of the World Cup individual championship. In the final match of the tournament held in Belgrade, Tevanian faced Hungary's Ismail Musukaev and won with a score of 9:1.

It is worth noting that our wrestler had qualified for the knockout stage by defeating Moldova's Nikolay Grahmez with a score of 6-0. He then advanced to the Round of 16, where Tevanian secured an 11-0 victory against Bahrain's Haji Mohamad Ali.

In the quarter-finals, Tevanian competed against Romania's Nikolay Ohlopkov and confidently won again with a score of 10-0. In the semi-finals, Tevanian achieved a 7:2 victory over Gory Khachaturyan from Ukraine.
