Vanetzian Appeals to NSS Reserves and Veterans
Esteemed reserve personnel and veterans of the National Security Service,
Thank you for your concerns regarding the future of our Homeland and for the clear assessments you have voiced during this critical time.
December 20 marks the Day of the Employees of the Security Agencies of Armenia. This holiday, which is very important and symbolic for us, cannot be celebrated as we used to in the past. This year is different from all previous ones. The future of our state and people is at risk.
The Republic of Armenia is going through the most dangerous period of its existence; we have lost significant parts of Artsakh, thousands of brothers have died, and we still face unresolved security issues.
As someone who has served in the national security system for many years, I propose that on this year’s Day of the Employees of the Security Agencies, December 20, we visit Yerablur to pay our respects to the memory of our heroes who fell in defense of the Homeland. I am confident that Yerablur is the place we must be on that significant day.
I invite and hope our esteemed colleagues from the Police, Prosecutor’s Office, investigative bodies, and Armed Forces will also join us.
I look forward to seeing all of you on December 20 at 12:00 PM in Yerablur.
With deep respect,
Major General Arthur Vanetzian
