Three Armenian Captives in Armenia: They Are Doing Well

A video circulated today on Armenian media and social networks featuring three Armenian captives, in which Azerbaijani soldiers are seen torturing and forcing captured civilians to utter texts favorable to Azerbaijan. The video claims that the individuals were captured on the Goris-Kapan road.

The Information Verification Center managed to personally contact the captured civilians: Andranik Sargsyan, Khachik Grigoryan, and Arman Tovmasyan (names released with the boys' consent). They stated that the video is old and that they are currently together in Armenia.

The civilians were among the 44 captives returned to Armenia on December 14 as part of a prisoner exchange facilitated by Russian peacekeepers. Their names were included in the publicly released lists.
