The Number 1 Responsible Party Still Insists Turks Must Draw the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border: Seyran Ohanyan

Unaware of the history of Armenia and the Artsakh liberation movement, the Number 1 responsible party for the current situation in the country is now demanding that the Turks and Azerbaijanis draw the Armenia-Azerbaijan border according to their preference, supposedly based on the borders of the Soviet Union. This was stated by former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on his Facebook page.

He added in particular: “Reminder: The Soviet Union has not existed for 30 years. The Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict is still unresolved. There is no dialogue between the conflicting parties. So, what borders are we talking about?”

Conclusion: The regime that undermines the inviolability of the borders of newly independent Armenia, along with its leader, must leave power immediately. Forces that represent the interests of the Armenian people must come to power and take responsibility for ensuring the inviolability of Armenia's borders, the resumption of the negotiation process, and the bold and full execution of state functions in external and internal politics.”
