With Armen Sarkissian's Support, Housing and Food Issues for Over 170 Residents of Hadrut Will Be Resolved
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, recently hosted a group of Hadrut residents at his residence. They presented their issues, which particularly concern the legal status of those displaced from Hadrut, the preservation of Hadrut's historical and cultural monuments, and support for the homeless Hadrut residents. President Sarkissian expressed his readiness to assist our compatriots from Hadrut as much as possible.
This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the President’s Office, stating that, by the President’s instruction, joint discussions between the President’s Office and Hadrut representatives took place, resulting in a decision to prioritize solutions for the homeless, while also continuing efforts to address other issues.

It was noted in the meeting that more than 170 people displaced from Hadrut will have their housing and food issues addressed during the resolution process, as they will temporarily reside in hotels.
