Who Will Take Over the Presidency of Artsakh, David Ishkhanyan Will Become the Speaker of the National Assembly: "Hraparak"

"Hraparak" newspaper reports that the process of forming a national consensus government has begun in Artsakh. In this context, the most criticized officials will leave their positions soon. According to our information, first and foremost, those from the security forces will resign, including the director of the National Security Service, the police chief, and the prosecutor general.

There will also be changes in parliament, as David Ishkhanyan from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation will become the Speaker of the National Assembly. Currently, this position is held by Arthur Sargsyan, a former member of Araik Harutyunyan's party.

The President of Artsakh announced yesterday his departure from the "Free Homeland" party and issued a statement that essentially heralded a smooth transition of power to Vitaly Balasanyan. Furthermore, after editing his published message, he promised: "At the very first opportunity, I will resign my presidential powers, and within a reasonable timeframe, snap national elections will be organized in Artsakh, during which I will not run and will withdraw from politics."

More details can be found in today's newspaper issue.
