Smbat Gogyans Denies Joining Demands for Prime Minister's Resignation

A group of Armenian scientists, researchers, and workers in the scientific field has released a statement demanding the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The statement reads: “We, the undersigned Armenian scientists and researchers living abroad and in Armenia, are concerned about Nikol Pashinyan's policies and demand the resignation of Pashinyan and his government.” Among the signatories is also Smbat Gogyans, former head of the National Academy of Sciences, mathematician, and Doctor of Sciences.

In an interview with A1+, Gogyans denied joining the scientists' demands, stating: “I have never joined any signature collection or public appeal. My name was included without my consent.”
