Russian Peacekeepers Deliver Humanitarian Aid to Khanabad Village

Russian peacekeeping contingent soldiers have delivered humanitarian aid to the village of Khanabad in the Askeran region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Several hundred families have received humanitarian assistance. Food supplies and essential items have been provided to displaced persons who have returned to their homes, as well as to others in need. With the support of peacekeepers, the electricity supply system has been fully restored. For this purpose, repairs were carried out on 18 kilometers of power transmission lines and 50 support columns. Uninterrupted electricity supply has been resumed to 24 settlements with a total population of over 12,000.

Medical teams from the Russian Ministry of Defense continue to provide medical aid to the population in Stepanakert and Martakert. Local residents suffering from chronic illnesses, which they could not receive treatment for due to the escalation of conflict, are turning to Russian military doctors for help. Russian military doctors have provided medical assistance to 558 citizens, including 67 children," the statement said.
