No millimeter of sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia is ceded to Azerbaijan: MP
Member of Parliament from the "My Step" faction Narek Ghahramanyan has assured that the security of the Syunik region is not threatened.
“Dear Syunik residents, I want to provide clarity on the ongoing processes: 1. Not a single millimeter of the Republic of Armenia's sovereign territory is being ceded to Azerbaijan. 2. Our border positions have been located near Kubatlu and Zangelan. 3. Reports in the media claiming that villages are being besieged do not correspond to reality. 4. There will be no issues with the operation of the airport. 5. The Kapan-Agarak (village) road will continue to operate normally. 6. Russian border guards will be deployed in certain areas of the border to ensure security. 7. Nothing threatens the security of Kapan and Syunik.
P.S. Dear Syunik residents, I fully understand and accept all your concerns and protests, but I urge you not to fall for provocations and to remain united,” Ghahramanyan added.
