Fire Breaks Out in Martakert Apartment, One Fatality

On December 16, 2020, at around 11:00 PM, a fire broke out in an apartment on Sakharov Street in Martakert city, according to preliminary reports. The cause of the fire was attributed to a malfunction of an electric heating device, which resulted in the death of a resident of the apartment, identified as 63-year-old S.G.

The investigators from the second investigative division of the territorial investigative department of the Artsakh Investigative Committee have arrived at the scene. Urgent investigative actions are being carried out.
