Azerbaijani Claims Aim to Distort the November 9 Agreement

The Foreign Ministry of Artsakh has issued a statement in response to certain remarks made by a representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

In response to the question, "How do you comment on the statement made by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry representative to the Russian newspaper 'Kommersant' regarding the necessity for Armenian forces to withdraw from Nagorno-Karabakh?" the ministry answered, "Such claims from the Azerbaijani side aim to distort the trilateral statement on the ceasefire from November 9 and are a continuation of the provocative actions taken recently by that country's armed forces, aimed at undermining Russia's mediation efforts and peacekeeping mission. At the same time, we should note that the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh has been, is, and will continue to be the main guarantor of the statehood of Artsakh and the security of its people. Following the ceasefire established through Russian mediation on November 10, the Defense Army of Artsakh continues its mission together with Russian peacekeeping forces to ensure stability and peace in the conflict zone."
