Ashot Hovsepyan, Accused in Liquor Poisoning Case, Released on 2 Million Dram Bail
Ashot Hovsepyan, who has been accused of producing counterfeit liquor in the case of poisoning residents of the Armavir region, was released today, December 17, by a court decision on a bail of 2 million Armenian drams. This was reported by Hovsepyan's lawyer, Gor Gevorgyan, on his Facebook page.
“Victory and long-awaited release for my client Ashot Hovsepyan in the ‘Liquor Case’,” he wrote.
It is worth noting that Ashot Hovsepyan is charged under Article 207, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code for producing or selling counterfeit liquor, which has resulted in death or serious consequences due to negligence.
