Any Publication is Under Investigation: Live Broadcasts and Press Releases Have Become Subjects of Inquiry - Abrahamyan

Numerous criminal cases have been initiated, and a special report will be provided soon regarding this. This was stated today by Gohar Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General, during a conversation with journalists about the legal proceedings related to all publications concerning the war.

It is noteworthy that lawyers and human rights defenders were rallying in front of the Prosecutor General's office, demanding a meeting with Arthur Davtyan.

Gohar Abrahamyan mentioned that any publication has been investigated, and live broadcasts and press releases have become subjects of inquiry. “Both the investigations conducted in the investigative department of the NSS and the main investigations of the Investigation Committee are underway. Cases regarding the purchase of low-quality weapons are also being examined. I have been engaged in this matter for two days, understanding the necessity,” he said, emphasizing that what has been circulated on the internet has been recorded and is also being pursued legally.

Elinar Vardanyan, a member of the Alternative Projects Group, wanted to clarify that it is expected to find criminal cases within the framework of the initiated criminal cases pertaining to the statements of military leadership and officials, where direct accusations have been made against the country’s leadership.

“I expect there will be discussions on the actions of the Prime Minister,” Vardanyan said, to which Abrahamyan responded that proper oversight would be conducted and that regular updates would be published on this matter.
