Allegations Arise That the Opposition Offers Money to Grieving Mothers to Participate in Protests, Says I. Tonoyan

It has long been known that the government led by Nikol Pashinyan lacks any moral principles and is willing to resort to any disgraceful act to maintain its power and position. We also knew that for their own PR, Nikol Pashinyan’s wife and his associates could visit the relatives of the victims of the 44-day war and publish smiling photos as if nothing terrible had happened. We knew this, but until the last moment, it was hard to believe that Nikol’s government was willing to insult the memory of our thousands of heroes resting in Yerablur,” Tonoyan wrote.

The government's propaganda machine has shamelessly circulated another grotesque lie today, claiming that forces demanding Nikol Pashinyan's resignation are offering money to grieving mothers in Yerablur to participate in protest actions. “Well, do you have any sanctity or moral value at all? I understand that you are ready to take any immoral and baseless step to keep your coveted position, but we will not allow you to insult the memory of our heroes. It is you, because of your spineless political approaches, who increase the number of our heroes resting in Yerablur every day. It is you who are terrified in your bunkers and shelters to look into the eyes of the relatives of our missing soldiers and captives. It is you who leave hundreds of parents in uncertainty and despair for hours, overwhelmed with information about their sons' captivity flooding the entire internet. Therefore, at least have a little shame and be silent… Be silent because every word you utter will be used against you. You will not escape the public and popular outrage and just judgment. Time now works against you, morally bankrupt rulers,” Tonoyan concluded.
