There is an agreement for the complete return of established cases of captives, says Pashinyan
We have established cases of captives, and there is an agreement on the complete return of these established cases. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with Azatutyun today, responding to the question of whether we know how many Armenian captives are in Azerbaijan.
“We also have information about our soldiers and civilians who may have been captured. We are essentially completing the exchange of established cases of captives, and now we should continue the process concerning the identification and return of unestablished cases,” he noted.
Referring to the latest information about the capture of Armenian soldiers, Pashinyan emphasized that it pertains to the Khtzaberd - Hin Tagher area, where the situation is quite tense. He stated that the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, and the Defense Army have been working throughout the night to clarify and resolve this situation.
“Yes, there is this information, but it is within the context of the same incident. Yes, the situation there is quite complicated, which is further exacerbated by the impassability of communication routes. The Defense Army, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, and the Russian peacekeepers are currently working to clarify and resolve this situation,” Pashinyan said.
