Several Soldiers Awarded Posthumously with Medals and Decorations

By the decree of the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, a group of soldiers from the Ministry of Defense has been awarded posthumously with medals and decorations for their contributions to the protection and security of the homeland, as well as for their bravery and dedication shown during combat operations. The decree was published on the official website of the President of Armenia.
The posthumous "Order of Combat Cross" of the 1st degree was awarded to:
- Tatul Lavrenti Ghazaryan, Commander of Military Unit N, Colonel
- Armen Mikayeli Ohanian, Deputy Commander of Military Unit N, Lieutenant Colonel
The "Order of Combat Cross" of the 2nd degree was awarded to:
- Koryun Vazgen Vardanyan, Battalion Commander of Military Unit N, Lieutenant Colonel
The Medal of Courage was awarded to:
- Ivan Armen Nersesyan, Conscript of Military Unit N, Junior Sergeant
- Shavo Yerjaniki Samsonyan, Conscript of Military Unit N, Private
- Arsen Stepani Danielov, Conscript of Military Unit N, Private
The "Medal for Services to the Fatherland" of the 2nd degree was awarded to:
- Aghasi Artsruni Harutyunyan, Company Commander of Military Unit N, Captain
- Arek Artaki Aduryan, Conscript of Military Unit N, Junior Sergeant
- Garik Mihrani Sargsyan, Conscript of Military Unit N, Junior Sergeant
