Seven Residents of Gyumri Break Through Blockade in Khzraberd

Seven volunteer residents of Gyumri, trapped in a blockade in Khzraberd, have successfully broken through the encirclement and reached a safe zone. This was reported by opposition figure Karapet Poghosyan on his Facebook page.

"Good news: a friend of mine who was caught in the blockade in Khzraberd called me a short while ago, and he, along with six other Gyumri residents, managed to breach the encirclement and reach a secure area. Due to safety considerations, I won’t reveal names or details today," Poghosyan stated.

It is important to note that around 160 volunteers from Shirak had been trapped in Khzraberd, prompting their relatives to hold protests in various parts of the Shirak region since early morning.
