Investigation Underway to Determine the Circumstances of Soldier Vahe Babayan's Death
On December 15, around 14:00, a conscript soldier, Private Vahe Hovhannes Babayan, was found at the combat position of Military Unit N, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the jaw.
The Investigative Committee reports that a criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident, based on the third part of Article 360.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (causing a soldier's death through negligence). An investigation is currently underway.
