If There Has Been Treason, Why Has the Former Director of the NSS Not Reported a Crime or Resigned? - Pashinyan
In an interview with Azatutyun, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to statements alleging that the President of Azerbaijan transferred $5 billion to him in exchange for seven regions of Artsakh.
“First, I publicly announced that there is an operational connection with the President of Azerbaijan, and that agreement was reached in Dushanbe. Second, I propose that a criminal case be initiated based on that statement. Today, let the figure who has moved to the opposition provide public testimony; if the former NSS director has been involved in treason and has not initiated a criminal case, then he himself is a traitor or complicit in treason. Why hasn’t he reported the crime or resigned?” Pashinyan stated.
“I agree to conduct a public examination; let’s see who the traitor is and who is not. Let’s investigate whether I sold Artsakh for $5 billion or not. Let’s check my and my family’s assets to see if my wealth has improved in any way during my tenure as prime minister or not,” he added.
