Certain Complications in the Border Adjustment Process in Syunik, According to Pashinyan

There are certain complications in the border adjustment process in Syunik. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with Azatutyun today.

"The road in the 21-kilometer section connecting Goris to Kapan occasionally goes beyond the borders of the Republic of Armenia, and we need to ensure the normal functioning of this road," he said.

The Prime Minister noted that the military corps commander is constantly present in the Syunik region, and the entire process is overseen by the Armed Forces. According to him, borders are being adjusted based on maps that have existed since Soviet times, specifically referring to those legal maps that hold de jure force.
