17 Students Abducted in Nigeria Rescued, Two Dead
Seventeen students abducted by the armed group Boko Haram from a school in northwestern Nigeria have been rescued; however, two have died as a result of the operation, reports Anadolu Agency.
The governor of Katsina state, Aminu Masari, told a local radio station that he had ordered the operation following the kidnapping of hundreds of students from a boarding school in the small town of Kankara by Boko Haram on Friday.
