Helicopter Crash Near Beach in New Zealand Claims Lives

A helicopter has crashed on the South Island of New Zealand, carrying a family of five. On December 15, The New Zealand Herald reported that two people were killed, and three others were injured.

The tragedy occurred at a beach 30 kilometers from the town of Kaikoura on the island's eastern coast. All three injured individuals, including children, were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Local media clarifies that the victims of the aviation accident were the adults, the father and mother, while their children were hospitalized with serious injuries.

The New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority has initiated an investigation into the crash.
