Electoral Vote Confirms Biden's Victory in US Presidential Election
The electoral vote in the United States has confirmed the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the presidential election. Biden received the votes of 55 electors from California, bringing his total to over 270 votes; he received a total of 302 votes, while Donald Trump obtained 232.
Notably, all electorates from states where Trump contested Biden's victory cast their votes for the Democratic candidate. The election results will be finalized on January 6, when a joint session of Congress will certify them.
