Azerbaijan and Turkey Sign Memorandum on Gas Pipeline Construction from Igdir to Nakhchivan

The energy ministers of Turkey and Azerbaijan, Fatih Dönmez and Parviz Shahbazov, have signed a memorandum in Ankara regarding the supply of natural gas from Turkey to Nakhchivan. As reported by RIA Novosti, the Turkish minister stated that the Turkey-Nakhchivan gas pipeline will start from the city of Igdir and end in Sandraq (Sadarak). The Turkish section of the pipeline will span 85 kilometers.
He noted that it is planned to supply 500 million cubic meters of gas annually through this pipeline.
