Ara Aivazyan Participates in the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Forum of Ancient Civilizations
On December 15, the 4th meeting of the Forum of Ancient Civilizations took place in an online format. The meeting, chaired by Peru, included representatives from Armenia, Peru, Bolivia, China, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Iran, and Iraq. For the first time, a representative of Mexico also participated in the meeting as a full member.
In his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia highly appreciated the role of the forum as a platform that unites nations and peoples with a rich historical heritage around universal values. The minister particularly noted, “Today, it is very important to promote a culture of peace to counter the growing aggression and violence that we witness around the world. The culture of peace can only be anchored in strong international cooperation, and in this regard, the Forum of Ancient Civilizations is an important platform as it unites countries that carry ancient cultural values and have immense material and immaterial heritage.”
