We Have New Injured, Unable to Establish Contact with 9 Individuals: Hayk Khanumyan
Former member of the Artsakh National Assembly Hayk Khanumyan commented on Facebook regarding the situation following the publication of a map by the Russian Ministry of Defense on December 13, which includes the Khtsaberd-Hin Tagher sector within the area of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh. He noted that the enemy has advanced further, including in the Shushi region, utilizing mortars and reconnaissance UAVs.
For more information on this matter, Razminfo contacted Hayk Khanumyan, who reported that there are new injured individuals, and they are unable to establish contact with 9 people, among whom there is also an injured person. In an interview with the site, Khanumyan stated that the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, Rustam Muradov, is supposed to confirm the status of these 9 individuals today—whether they are prisoners or not.
It should be noted that Hayk Khanumyan participated in the defense of the Dizapayt positions in the Hadrut region during the war. Reminder that on December 11, Azerbaijan initiated provocative actions in the direction of the Hin Tagher and Khtsaberd villages in the Hadrut region, which later continued towards the Great Shen and Hin Shen villages in Shushi.
Auroranews contacted the Ministry of Defense in order to clarify the details and is currently awaiting their comments. We have also attempted to obtain comments from the relevant authorities in Artsakh, but they have not responded to our calls.
