We Expect the Start of the Return of Our Captives from the Officially Confirmed Group: Nikol Pashinyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has announced that the government has approached the commencement of the process of exchanging and returning captives. Pashinyan made this statement during a live broadcast on his Facebook page on December 14.

“Very soon, we expect the start of the return of our captives from the officially confirmed group. Our thought process is as follows: at this stage, we should begin to return those captives whose captivity has been officially confirmed by Azerbaijan and the Red Cross, after which we will focus more on the search for our brothers whose whereabouts are unknown, some of whom may have been captured. This is also a very complex process, and here I expect the understanding of our citizens, especially the relatives of our brothers whose whereabouts are unknown,” emphasized Pashinyan.
