Fake News Circulating About My Children Leaving Armenia, Says Pashinyan
Prominent circles have begun a real process of information terrorism against the Armenian people. Various false and half-truths are being spread, and the aim is to create panic among our people,” said Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in a video address.
According to him, the primary issue now is to establish stability and security around Armenia and Artsakh. “For a month now, fake news has been circulating about my family, claiming that my children have left Armenia. Since the start of the war, no family member of mine has left Armenia and they do not plan to do so,” he emphasized.
Pashinyan pointed out that discussions about his family's properties abroad have already become part of daily news flow, and some have turned this into their main tool of struggle. “However, you should know that the only real estate my family possesses on this planet is the apartment in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan that all of you are familiar with,” he added.
Touching on rumors of his resignation, Pashinyan stated, “I can only resign from the position entrusted to me by the people based on the credible results of a public expression. As long as such a public expression has not taken place, I will continue to perform my duties as Prime Minister and I am obliged to do so honestly and transparently.”
