Body of 35-Year-Old Man Found Hanging from Tree in Tsitsernakaberd Forest

On December 14, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 08:00, alerts were received by the emergency services’ 911 hotline and the operational management center of the Malatia police department, reporting a male body hanging from a tree in the Tsitsernakaberd forest.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Malatia police department, headed by chief Andranik Meloyan, arrived at the scene. Also present were one firefighting team from Yerevan’s rescue department and a group from the investigative division of the Malatia Investigation Department of Armenia's Investigative Committee.

The rescuers removed the body from the tree and transported it to a vehicle for further examination.
