Araiik Harutyunyan: In Moments I Will Personally Welcome Our More Than Forty Prisoners of War Returning to Yerevan

These difficult days, as our people strive to straighten their backs from the pain and bitterness of losses due to the horrific war, there are sometimes glimpses of light that inspire us with hope and faith to live and rebuild everything anew.

In just moments, a plane carrying our more than forty prisoners of war will land in Yerevan. I will personally welcome them, together with their relatives.

This was stated by the President of Artsakh, Araiik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page.

“Clarifying the fate of all our missing compatriots, returning all surviving servicemen and civilians, and finding the bodies of the fallen to hand over to their loved ones remain our most urgent humanitarian issues on the agenda,” he wrote.
