The Catholicos and Archbishop Pargev Meet to Discuss the Situation in Artsakh

His Holiness Garegin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, met at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin with the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, who returned from treatment abroad.

Archbishop Pargev expressed his gratitude to His Holiness for the fatherly encouragement to seek medical care, which allowed for immediate medical intervention to avert life-threatening danger.

During the meeting, the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his joy over the Archbishop's recovery and return, noting that the faithful had shown serious concern over his health in recent days, which reflects the deep respect and love for Archbishop Pargev.

Throughout the meeting, the Catholicos and the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese discussed the prevailing situation in Artsakh, the needs of the Artsakh people, the initiatives aimed at addressing these needs, as well as the diocese's further activities and the care of the holy sites.
