Sargsyan Asks Putin to Support the Border Demarcation Process Between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The President of the Republic, Armen Sargsyan, has sent a letter to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, requesting support for the border demarcation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
In his letter, President Armen Sargsyan also expressed gratitude to the Russian President for the efforts that led to the cessation of bloodshed in Nagorno-Karabakh and the establishment of a ceasefire, which helped avoid further casualties and tragedies.
At the same time, the Armenian President noted that, unfortunately, there is still a potential risk of new disputes arising between the parties concerning the border demarcation issue. Considering the exceptional importance and relevance of the matter, President Sargsyan requested the Russian President's support in completing the border demarcation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan in order to prevent further tensions and negative developments.
