Ilham Aliyev Meets with Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group on Saturday, December 12. This was reported in a statement posted on the official website of the head of state.

Participants in the meeting included the co-chairs Andrew Schofer from the United States and Stefan Visconti from France, as well as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan, Mikhail Bocharnikov, and the personal representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Andzey Kasprzyk.

Earlier, a representative from the U.S. State Department, Philip Ricker, announced the plans of the co-chairs to visit the region this week to clarify how they can return to their diplomatic role regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement.
