Decision Made to Change NSS Director Again; Offer Extended to Gagik Jhangiryan

Recently, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called a meeting with security officials and directly asked them if they were with him or not. The Chief of Police confirmed unwavering support, while the NSS Director and Chief of General Staff expressed ambiguous opinions regarding legality and lawfulness, which left the Prime Minister dissatisfied. As a result, he decided to change the NSS Director once again in order to appoint someone completely devoted to him.

It has been reported that an offer was made to former military prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan, who is also a relative of Khachatur Sukiasyan. However, he has declined the offer, reportedly stating, "I will not take a position on a sinking ship." We reached out to Gagik Jhangiryan for confirmation. He responded, "No, there is no such offer, I will not be providing any comments," and quickly disconnected the call.
