Closed Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and K'ari Lake in the Aragatsotn Province are closed.

In the Aragatsotn Province, the road from the village of Nigavan to the Spitak serpentines, the Shirak Province road from Artik to Alagyaz, and the road from Goris to Kapan in the Syunik Province have patches of black ice due to fog.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia branch of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the ban on entry to Georgia for foreigners remains in effect. However, the restriction does not apply to cargo transport.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
