A Memorial Plaque Dedicated to Fallen Russian Pilots Unveiled in Yeraskh

Under the national anthems of Armenia and Russia, a memorial plaque dedicated to fallen Russian pilots was unveiled in Yeraskh today, December 12. A memorial complex symbolizing the friendship between the Armenian and Russian nations is also planned to be constructed in Yeraskh.
Earlier, it was reported that on November 9 at 18:39, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a call about a Russian helicopter that had crashed and caught fire in a gorge on the segment leading from the village of Yeraskh to the village of Paruyr Sevak. It was revealed that a Russian Mi-24 helicopter had crashed, resulting in the deaths of two pilots.
