What Karen Karapetyan Promised Vazgen Manukyan
The newspaper "Hraparak" writes: "These days, many are recalling 1996, when a discontented mass emerged on the brink of the presidential elections, rallying around Vazgen Manukyan, who gathered political forces, business representatives, and intellectuals, presenting a serious claim to victory in the elections.
Now, although Vazgen Manukyan has aged and many oppose his premiership, a significant number of people understand that at this moment there is almost no alternative, and they are compelled to support the 'Vazgen Manukyan project.' We have learned that many individuals — including businessmen, political figures, and representatives of the diaspora — are meeting with him these days. In particular, former Prime Ministers Hrant Bagratyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan, and Hovik Abrahamyan are supporting him, and recently Karen Karapetyan met with him and promised that after his appointment as Prime Minister, he would fully assist in the recovery of the declining economy with resources, finances, and ideas."
