Do Not Panic When Hearing Explosions: Emergency Situations Ministry

Throughout the day, the Mine Clearance Team of the Emergency Situations Ministry will carry out destruction activities of discovered weapons and ammunition in the communities of Khndzoresk and Aygestan in the Askeran region, as well as adjacent areas of Martakert city.

The Ministry reports that during these days, under the command of the Director of Services, Major General Karen Sargsyan, the clearance teams are conducting reconnaissance and search operations in all settlements.

“The found military ammunition is either transported to a safe location or destroyed on-site. Therefore, we ask the public not to panic when they hear explosions,” the announcement states.
