Azerbaijani Political Figures Demand Withdrawal of Russian Peacekeeping Forces from Artsakh
Azerbaijani political party leaders and representatives of public organizations, along with members of the Azerbaijani diaspora, have demanded the withdrawal of Russian peacekeeping forces from Artsakh. This was reported by the Infoteka24 Telegram channel.
Azerbaijani political and social figures have addressed the UN, the Security Council, the European Parliament, the OSCE, NATO, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and UNESCO's permanent members.
The statement emphasizes that Armenia captured Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent regions with the support of Russia. They argue that the deployment of the Russian peacekeeping mission in Artsakh was carried out in violation of international norms.
According to these Azerbaijani political figures, Russia has created military bases and equipped its forces with weapons that are incompatible with peacekeeping activities.
