The State Acquires Second Equipment to Speed Up DNA Research
The Ministry of Health of Armenia is currently acquiring another flow line for forensic genetic identification studies. Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the Minister of Health, stated this in an interview with Armenpress.
She noted that the Ministry's Forensic Medicine Scientific Practical Center possesses a genetic analyzer (sequencer), the Applied Biosystem 3500, which complies with international standards and is currently the only one in Armenia.
“Currently, the Ministry of Health is acquiring another flow line for forensic genetic identification studies, which will expedite the identification process after installation,” the spokesperson emphasized.
