Some Confuse the Church with Separate Groups, Attempting to Obscure Simple Truths: Priest Vahram Melikyan

Some confuse the Church with separate groups, attempting to obscure the simple truth that CHURCH means 'the collective of the people.' There is no need to elaborate further on this. This was stated by Vahram Melikyan, the head of the information system of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, on his Facebook page.

He specifically noted:

  • - A Christian, loyal to their faith, must be a Christian everywhere, even in politics.
  • - The study of the subject 'History of the Armenian Church' is critically necessary so that future MPs do not 'shine' in their church knowledge.
  • - The 'attackers' in the National Assembly field apparently lack education, not to mention their manners. One cannot progress solely with primitiveness, populist flattery, and rhetoric. The results are already evident.
  • - Every person has a mission. Therefore, there is no such thing as a random person passing by in the street, just as perhaps certain passersby were not random years ago. It is not good to classify people.
  • - Some MPs have a short memory, are opportunists, and it would be better if instead of spewing out a plethora of speeches with the mandate of the people, they show real responsibility to save the homeland, demonstrating their 'ability and maturity' as they put it.
  • - DEAR ONES, there is no good in insults, offenses, and enmity. Peace and harmony should not stem from political expediency but should be perceived as vital by ALL for the sake of the homeland.
  • - WHO HAS GOODNESS WILL STAND FIRM.
