Police Identify Driver Who Struck Protester on Myasnikyan Avenue
The police have identified the individual who struck a protester on Myasnikyan Avenue, who has since given a confession. This was reported by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of Armenia.
"On December 9, at 15:06, the police received a report from the hospital that a 36-year-old man had been admitted with a fractured left leg, claiming that the injury was a result of being struck by the driver of a 'Ford' vehicle on Myasnikyan Avenue. Officers from the Marash police station clarified that at 14:30, a 35-year-old resident of Yerevan had hit the man with his car, causing bodily harm. Thanks to the explanatory work of the police, he presented himself at the Marash police station at 18:00 and provided a confession. Materials are being prepared for the case," the statement mentioned.
