Maybe You Can Sew Dresses with License Plates, Tina Kandelaki to Baku

Tina Kandelaki, the general director of Match TV, made a post on her Telegram channel regarding the military parade in Baku, responding to a panel made from Armenian license plates with the slogan "Karabakh is Azerbaijan."

“Maybe you can sew dresses with license plates and officially start classes of hatred towards neighbors in the region? Yes, military conflicts do not occur without instances of cruelty (sometimes simply categorized as war crimes) from both sides. But what is the foundation of this excitement? Why not direct that enthusiasm toward creation, preserving historical heritage, and attempts to stitch together long-standing rifts? Why aren't we organizing unhealthy enthusiasm flash mobs and mocking Germany instead? And since history demands not to tear and rewrite its pages, but to turn them and write deeper new ones,” Kandelaki wrote.

It is noteworthy that on December 10, the day of the nationwide referendum for the independence of Artsakh, a military parade was held in Baku to celebrate the victory, during which President Ilham Aliyev also declared that Lake Sevan, Yerevan, and Zangezur are their historical lands.
