Honda Fit Vehicle Rolls into Ravine on Sisian-Yerevan Highway, Casualties Reported

On December 9, at 20:43, the Syunik Region Crisis Management Center received information regarding an accident on the Sisian-Yerevan highway, in an area known as 'Bochka's Gorge'. There were reports of casualties.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional emergency management department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that at the 31st kilometer of the Sisian-Yerevan highway, a 'Honda Fit' vehicle (driver: Hamlet M., born in 1972) left the roadway and rolled into a ravine (approximately 60 meters), resulting in bodily injuries to the driver and passenger Aram H. (born in 1972). Passenger Vrej M. (born in 2001) died at the scene.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery and closed the gas cylinder valve. They retrieved the driver, passenger Aram H., and Vrej M.'s body, which was then placed on a stretcher and brought to the ambulance. The injured were transported to the Sisian Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as severe.
