Ara Ayvazyan Meets with the Secretary General of the Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo

During a working visit in France, Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan met with the Secretary General of the Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo on December 9. This information was reported by the Press and Public Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

The Foreign Minister and the Secretary General discussed the organization's activities during the Covid-19 pandemic and the challenges that arose in the Francophone area as a result of the pandemic.

Minister Ayvazyan comprehensively presented to Louise Mushikiwabo the humanitarian crisis that has arisen due to the war unleashed by the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance against Armenia and Artsakh, as well as the steps being taken to address it.

Ara Ayvazyan drew Louise Mushikiwabo's attention to the direct involvement of terrorist groups sponsored by Turkey in the war, noting that this poses a serious threat not only to the security of Armenia and Artsakh but also to the security of the entire region.

Taking the opportunity, Armenia's Foreign Minister thanked the Secretary General of the Francophonie for her principled and clear position regarding the war unleashed against Artsakh.
