When Are Snap Elections Planned to Take Place? "Zhoghovurd"

"Zhoghovurd" newspaper reports that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia held a meeting the day before, during which it was announced that snap parliamentary elections are expected in Armenia in the coming months, and preparations must be undertaken actively.

Our sources indicate that the Republican members were informed that the elections are anticipated to take place in May-June, and all efforts should be directed towards that goal. According to our information, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been discussing the snap parliamentary elections in his private meetings around the same timeframe.

According to our sources, Pashinyan has recently hinted during separate meetings with businesspeople that preparations for the snap parliamentary elections are necessary and urged them to participate collectively in these elections. Therefore, it can be said that both the opposition and the ruling powers are planning to hold snap elections during the same period, although the political authorities are not yet willing to speak about it openly.
