VIDEO: Service Dogs Monitoring Truck Traffic at Bagratashen Checkpoint Since September
Service dogs that underwent special training at the State Revenue Committee's canine center, along with their handlers, have been providing round-the-clock monitoring at the Bagratashen checkpoint since September.
Previously, staff from the center were deployed to Armenia's borders from Yerevan as needed. As part of the strategic program for the development and improvement of administration by the SRC, the trained dogs and handlers are now on permanent duty at both the Meghri and Bagratashen checkpoints, significantly enhancing the effectiveness of monitoring.
