Tigran Virabyan Submits Resignation as Deputy Mayor of Yerevan for New Position

Dear residents of Yerevan, dear compatriots,

I have received an offer from the management of Public Television to assume the role of the chief producer of the company. This was stated by Tigran Virabyan, the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.

He specifically noted: "I believe this is a great opportunity to participate in the significant qualitative changes and the implementation of creative new ideas planned for Channel One. Therefore, I have submitted my request to the Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, asking to be relieved of my duties as Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.

I think that over the past two years, significant positive changes have taken place in the areas under my coordination: culture, general education, and sports. I would like to thank the Council factions and my colleagues in the city administration for our joint work. I am especially grateful to Mayor Marutyan for the trust he has shown.

I am confident that our capital will continue to develop, regardless of all adversities and difficulties. I will strive to be as useful as possible to the community together with the great family of Public Television.
