Lexus of the Executive Director of Hayekonombank Blown Up in Yerevan
On December 9, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 08:30, the operational management center of the Yerevan Police received a report of an explosion in the yard of a building at 1/4 Davtyan Street in the Arabkir administrative district. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
Police ascertained that a Lexus car with the license plate 300 SL 01 was blown up under yet to be determined circumstances. Forensic experts from the police also worked at the scene.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties from the explosion. According to the website's information, the blown-up vehicle is operated by Aram Khachatryan, the executive director of Hayekonombank, however, he was not in the car at the time. The driver had started the car on his way to work, advanced a few meters, and then the explosion occurred.
At the investigator's request, the vehicle was transported to the police's secure holding area in Arabkir.
